Discussion:
All User Moves Fail, Groupwise 6.5.7
(too old to reply)

When I try to move users between post offices the move sticks at "Queue
Live Deferred Retry Message (no thread available)". I'm able to recover
the account using TID 2916560. I've tried moving new accounts and
existing accounts to/from different POs.

I'm currently working on a GroupWise 6.5.7 system with 1 MTA, 1 GWIA,
web access, and 15 post offices running on NetWare 6.5.7. I've run
recover (system maint) on the single domain and POs. I've also run
mailbox maintenance w/all options on all the POs. I've verified all the
PO links are correct. Dsrepair and timesync check come up clean on the
"master" server.

I've not tried rebuilding the POs nor restoring the wpdomain.db file
yet. Prior to doing so I was hoping for suggestions or TIDs I should
look into. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

POA object, agent settings, bump the number of TCP handler threads.

I had tried that on one of the POA but it didn't make a difference. I
can go through and set it on all POAs. They are all currently set for
the default (6). I was going to double the number or should I go
higher? Does the POA need to be restarted to see the change?

Thanks for the reply btw.

Double it for the time of the move, on both POAs involved. You normally don't have to restart the POA, watch the console to see if the change shows up on the POA, else hit F10, Configuration Options, Show configuration.

Setting it on both POAs seemed to fix the problem. Thanks for the
info.
