Dear friends,
We have a 6.5 GW system running for more than two years now, running 6.5.7
version.
Now we started to have an interesting problem. I can follow the message
until it leaves the MTA, but the message don´t get to the user mailbox. Some
messages come addressed to 5 or 6 addresses but only 1 or 2 users don´t get
their message, the other users receive without trouble.
I don´t know where I can start troubleshoting this problem. Can somebody
help me?

Regards,

These are all to the same PO? I can't recommend much besides verbose POA
logging.

Thanks Michael and Jeff.
Well, I´ve got the same error 3 times now and the messages allways come from
the internet. A message is sent to a few recipients and one of them doesn´t
get it. I had no complain on internal messages yet.
I´ll look for errors in the log files in the next few days and return with
more info, if possible.
I´ve noticed some errors on MTA when it starts, but I can´t see them in the
log file. I´ve enabled the "error message to admin" flag (/noerrormail) but
nothing happened. I´ll look for a way to discover what errors are these.

Can you narrow this down at all? Is it happening on mail that comes in
from the internet, internal mail or both? If you look at the sent items
for a message that failed to deliver, what does it show? You should be
in verbose mode logging on all agents for sure. Please provide as much
detail as possible.

Dear friends,
I´ve been looking for another message to "disapear" and this week it
happened again. But I could now track the problem and it didn´t have to be
with the POA. A message never got to a user and we could ask the sender to
resend it and it happend again and again.
The problem was int the Webshield (McAfee). In our site a message flow
though our antispam system, the to the webshield and from there to GWIA.
What happened is tha in some circunstances a message goes in the Webshiled
and doesn´t go out. So I send a message to 10 users and all of sudden only 9
of them go to GWIA, and Webshield logs the error in Wiondows events, stating
that it was not able to put the message in out queue.

I´ll keep looking for other errors jus to be shure that the problem is
solved.

We will watch for an update from you.
