Stop POA to recover users address Book?

I'm trying to recover a user's address book, per TID: 10023748.

Unfortunately I can't rename the current user database. I closed out any client that would be connecting (notify, BlackBerry services), but I still can't rename the file.

Do I need to exit the POA?
