To delete the documents themselves, you'll need explicit rights to them.
You can change the rights as the librarian user, but do you actually want
to delete them all completely ?

All that means is that your Administrator user is allowed to use the
Delete right within the Library *PROVIDED* that they actually have an
explicit delete right to the individual documents.

Within the properties of the library object where you saw this Admin user,
does that user also have the Librarian checkbox ticked ?

If so, then you need to do a Find * on that library to list all the
documents - then highlight them all and use Tools/Mass Document Operations
to add Full Rights to the documents for your Adminstrator user. After the
indexer runs next, then you should be able to completely remove the
documents from the library.

However, I've always found that deleting documents always ends in tears as
sooner or later someone wants that document that hasn't been used in the
last ten years :-)
